The European Application center for Service Robotics is located in Huizingen, Belgium and specializes in robocentric automation solutions for e-commerce, retail, fresh food, non-food, express parcel segments. Our portfolio ranges from robotic products to modular cells, engineered turnkey solutions and lifecycle management services. The European Application Centre (formerly intrion N.V.) supports our sales and project management teams across all European countries.

Position:

In this role you are responsible for building close relationships with target key accounts, mainly leading global and regional e-commerce companies. You will work with your key accounts translating their needs into innovative solutions. You will establish ABB’s reputation as a leading robotics solutions provider in e-commerce automation segment.

Your responsibilities are:

  • You take initiative in developing sales strategies for key accounts and lead the continuous implementation of the defined strategy.
  • You create added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g. development of frame agreements). You ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and margins with a structured follow up and reporting process.
  • You establish and develop strategic individual relationships based on a defined strategy and act as focal point for problem resolution.
  • You develop, maintain and share detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, business drivers, economic trends, and competition.
  • You identify and prioritize opportunities. You monitor competitors’ activity and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
  • You coordinate the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising, and marketing) to increase ABB’s market awareness and influence customers at all levels.

Profile

  • A Bachelors or Master’s Degree in either technical or commercial discipline.
  • Self-driven sales professional with strategic and value based sales experience.
  • Industry experience, especially in sales of automated e-fulfillment operations is strongly desired.
  • Experience in Robotics automation is preferred.
  • Creative thinker with commercial focus, good technical understanding and results orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentable and able to interface with customers at all levels with integrity.
  • Flexible, energetic and a sociable team player.
